Ground mount anchoring
One-off PV system for my bottom of the garden shed / air pistol range had a spike of activity over the weekend (mainly because my wife wanted the PV panels out of the lounge).
So I assembled the three, five panel structures where they'll be sited - basic triangular mounts (four per structure) with two rails.
Before I add the panels, I assume I'll need to ensure they won't get caught and moved by wind.
What's the go-to solution for this?
The ground is bare earth, probably somewhat rocky underneath and I'll need to do some levelling.
I'm thinking railway sleepers or maybe some sort of prefabricated concrete thing from a builder's merchant?
PS If anyone has my old Navitron sig , please PM it to me!

GT (welcome to the new place)
Take a look at this site for an idea as to piece potential (different projects citing different kit from the kee-klamp range.

Also, .. bags of postcrete? widely available, at your local fence company / toolstation type place.

Re: Ground mount anchoring
Is postcrete widely available ?
I struggled to get any locally earlier this year and ‘improvised’. Would be worth checking well in advance of any works if you’re going down this route.

Re: Ground mount anchoring
Builders are going from place to place to buy up the limited amount allowed.
It's at my local shed & fencing place, plus they are involved in the concrete trade, so perhaps look outwardly at "other trades" as well as ask directly of toolstation et al when their stock is due & be there to grab some.

Screw piles??
no seriously, and you don't need ointment for them.

Re: Ground mount anchoring
I have ground mount on a schletter system. It has 16 panels and called for 3 blocks each with about a cubic meter of concrete to meet the specifications. I guess you could scale the requirements based on that. In reality the panels are shielded behind by leylandii and I probably didn't need that much.
Other alternatives if your ground is suitable are the screw poles.

Re: Ground mount anchoring
Here's a little vid of us winding some 1.7m long screw piles in for a garden office we are building. These would be way over the top for a ground PV array but it shows how quick and easy they are, no worries for a good DIYer.
