Cleaning roof panels - suggestions

Simple question. What, other than a hose pipe, do you use to clean panels that had bird excrement on them ? Do you have long window cleaning poles etc or other stuff?

I ask because despite hosing of the panels, I can see some dioscolouration on some of them. I don't know if it is affecting output though (I don't think it is, I can't see any specific drop off in power generated).

I use a backpack window cleaning unit with a long extending pole, similar to this https://windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/p ... rid-bundle

Thanks guys. Both are more expensive systems than I was expecting, so I'll have to have a look around.

I use a 3 stage telescopic washbrush with a bottom hose connection (Amazon i think). Gets the job done, a lot of Saharan sand going about the now.

I have an agreement with the weatherman, he often supplies precipitation. Had to have a word this week as he gave Sahara dust by mistake but he twiddled the knobs and gave the heavy rain that caused chaos at the Great North Run but I'm sure there isn't a grain of Sahara sand left now. :D

My panels were looking more than a bit sandy. But before I could get around to cleaning them we had a torrential downpour today. Same goes for one of the cars! (Cleaned the sand off the other one twice now).
