Almost a record low bid for a tender for SolarPV which to date was $0.0104/kWh from before the years of inflation...

Saudi residential leccy prices are about 4p / kWh and the capacity factor for Solar PV in Saudi is almost double that of the UK.

But, the contribution of solar appears to be just 0.2% (2022 data) and exceeds wind generation by a factor of over 2!

Unsurprisingly the other 99.7% was generated using fossil fuel (presumably 100% oil?). I doubt things have changed very much during the intervening two years?
