Slight digression, but just to say that most of these articles these days are very fair when they give household equivalents, taking capacity factor into account. I've noticed the same of wind farms too.
I make the generation (per house, out of those 330,00 houses) roughly 2,500kWh, which I think is reasonable for a UK household (excluding HP's and EV's).
Just thought I'd mention in case folk read these articles, and wonder.
