8.6p/watt incl VAT for the Longi. That’s way below what I’ve ever seen on offer.

I've just ordered a Hoymiles HMS-2000-4T to add 4 panels somewhere around our house (minor problem I'll sort out alter :D ), next is cheap panels. Unfortunately I'm nowhere near the north west, so are City Plumbing still the best source for 4 cheap panels, or is there somewhere else worth looking at?

Bimble and ITS are always worth a look. Trade Sparky has had well-priced panels in the past too.

Just to update this, there are no panels left on this site despite the listing still being live.

I noticed last night midsummer also have 35quid panels along with some others at not bad prices, but only have a few left.

10p/W inc VAT seems to be the very best you can get at the moment. However Panel dimensions vary. You might find that a slightly more-expensive panel allows you to squeeze more Watts onto the same roof just by having favourable dimensions.

Pudding - always worth checking CEF and REXEL if you have a unit near by - you need to register to get the prices but they are as good as / better than / more expensive than city plumbing depending on what you want and what they stock.

I haven't figured out yet why the likes of screw fix don't carry a supply of solar panels and associated kit ? always struck me as odd but what do I know ?

If you only want a few panels City Plumbing is hard to beat because of their free delivery on typically 2 or more panels.
Min spend is £75 ex VAT.
