Father Christmas came today, yea a little late, but hey deliveries across Europe are going to the dogs.!.

Just a 1 ton palette 2 meters by 1.2 meters and 1.6 meters high, with the newish 36 off Trina Vertex 400w PV Photovoltaic Panels Direct from China but through a French agent. That’s 14.4kW of electricity generation.

Our Friend in the next village is having 12 of them.

So that will bring our generation capacity here at ‘Le Vivray’ up to about 28kW in total.....

Now have to design build and construct a Static Array in the garden for our new 24 panels at 9.6kW.

If You are asking "what is the required amount of PV for a normal domestic house," then the consensus answer across the World by folk who have independent electricity is about 15kW of PV.

I agree, I need another 3kW which will one day be achieved by replacing some of the old ones for new.

And I need another 2kW of Ripple WT2 for winter.

That's a nice figure, well done! Looking forward to seeing it installed. Good timing too!
