Bit early but such a dull day I'm not expecting much from the PV.

My results for December were:

3.87 kWp, slope 50 degrees, due south, lat 57.15

Total generation: 65kWh

Daily average: 2.1kWh

Generation per kWp: 16.8kWh

Daily average per kWp: 0.54kWh

PVGIS: 62.1kWh

%PVGIS: 105%
3.87kWp PV
10.24kWp PV SolarEdge system
Tesla Powerwall 2
100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!) Now likely to be removed for more PV.
MK2 PV router DHW diverter
Morso 5kW WBS
Vaillant AroTherm 10kW ASHP
Nissan Leaf

28.67kWh a bad December even without losing the ( too ) mobile array.

On the plus side on the first of January before 11 pm we have already harvested 231Wh and have 192Wp incoming which is better than most days over December so at least here it’s a very very happy new year :)

Moxi

Finished the day with a whole kWh ! After December that’s really brilliant 🤩

Nowty Towers Power Station
Main 4kW PV system generated 61 kWh which is about 43% below baseline, in fact worst month ever in 13 years.
Total PV arrays generated 136 kWh.

Electric Import was 2244 kWh.
Gas import was 57 kWh.
Out of house EV charging was 176 kWh.
Petrol used in EV hybrid was 0 kWh.
Total imported energy use 2477 kWh

Solar PV / Battery electric export was 75 kWh.
Ripple GF wind farm generated 1655 kWh which is 24% above baseline and a new monthly record.
Total energy offset 1730 kWh

Net energy import (this month) for Nowty Towers 747 kWh

2023 (cumulative) Net Energy Import 1848 kWh
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's

4kw FIT system generated 63kwh - my poorest December since instalation.
5.45kw Non FIT system generated 109.6kwh

Need to do a bit of investigative/monitoring work based on these numbers, as both systems side by side on the same south facing roof but seem worlds away from each other, even when factoring in the additional 1.45kw and better pv efficency.
4.0kw FIT PV solar Sunnyboy 4000tl & 7 x 570w JA solar panels
7.08kw JA Solar panels & Sunsynk ECCO 3.6kw.
7 x US5000 Pylontechs.
4500l RWH
Full Biomass heating system
iBoost HW divertor
Full house internal walls insulation
600min Loft insulation

December figures - 52kWh generated - above PVGIS of 45kWh, but lower than last year of 62kWh.

Total for the year was 4566kWh - above PVGIS of 4054kWh - Happy with that for my first full year
Solar PV since July '22:
5.6kWp east/west facing
3.6kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter
2x 5.12kWh Sunsynk batteries
1.6kWp Hoymiles East/West facing PV on the man cave

Solar 41.88 kWh just beat last December by 700 w :)

Total import 3421 ( 2857)
Total export 120

However dec 22 I was using several free car chargers which have now disappeared, which probably saved 400 kWh in December
Mitsubishi Ecodan
ASHP 8.5kW x 2
12 x 460w Solar panels
9.5kWh GivEnergy
Batteries x 2
EVs x 4 210 kWh Batteries

A bit late on this one, but December 2023:

PVGIS: 190 kWh
Actual: 59 kWh

Absolutely awful.

But for all that Octopus have made the app work for calculating the Flux tariff.

From 01/7/23 to 31/12/23, including saving sessions, 6.4 kWp and 14kWh worth of batteries was cost neutral including gas import and standing charges.
Solar PV: 6.4kW solar PV (Eurener MEPV 400W*16)
PV Inverter: Solis 6kW inverter
Batteries: 14.4kWh LiFePO4 batteries (Pylontech US5000*3)
Battery Inverter: LuxPowertek 3600 ACS*2
EV: Hyundai Kona 65kWh
WBS: 8kW Hunter Avalon 6 Multifuel burner (wood only)
