August Generation

Bit of a poor month for my FIT's. Lower gen this month than each of May June and July, not ideal for the main summer month.

FIT system = 426.0
Sunsynk system = 173.2
4.0kw FIT PV solar Sunnyboy 4000tl & 7 x 570w JA solar panels
7.08kw JA Solar panels & Sunsynk ECCO 3.6kw.
7 x US5000 Pylontechs.
4500l RWH
Full Biomass heating system
iBoost HW divertor
Full house internal walls insulation

Might not have been a great month but when you get paid just shy of £1k for June, July and August FiT it's something I can live with.

My results for August were:

3.87 kWp, slope 50 degrees, due south, lat 57.15

Total generation: 437.5kWh

Daily average: 14.1kWh

Generation per kWp: 113.0kWh

Daily average per kWp: 3.6kWh

PVGIS: 342kWh

%PVGIS: 128%

2nd best August ever, yet I didn't think August had been that great sunshine wise :shock:

Nowty Towers Power Station

Main 4kW PV system generated 470 kWh which is 5% below baseline. :evil:
Total PV arrays generated 1615 kWh. :twisted:

Electric Import was 981 kWh.
Gas import was 11 kWh.
Out of house EV charging was 0 kWh.
Petrol used in EV hybrid was 0 kWh.
Total imported energy use 992 kWh

Solar PV / Battery electric export was 1836 kWh. :twisted:
Ripple GF wind farm generated 891 kWh which is 19% above baseline. :twisted:
Ripple KH wind farm generated 626 kWh which is 41% above baseline. :twisted:
Total energy offset 3353 kWh. :mrgreen:

Net energy import/export (this month) for Nowty Towers 2361 kWh :mrgreen:

Net Energy Import/export (cumulative this year 2024) for Nowty Towers 8399 kWh :mrgreen:

My notable is that August production was identical to July at 134.5 kwh/kwp

I had a record August from my Sunsynk system - 615kWh, vs PVGIS of 500, and previous best of 579kWh. 2nd best month of this year as may, June & July were all down.
Hoymiles man-cave system generated 134kWh
Solar PV since July '22:
5.6kWp east/west facing
3.6kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter
2x 5.12kWh Sunsynk batteries
1.6kWp Hoymiles East/West facing PV on the man cave

I got 388 kWh, 94% of the predicted. June was my best month so far, 506 kWh or 99% of the prediction.
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

August was yet another month with lower generation than last year, but I can't complain too much as PV still covered 71% of my needs, even with car charging.
Grid import is higher than normal due to the Free Power Hour from Octopus.

EV efficiency is down a little this month, MrsPablo and I are enjoying the uplift in performance! It's definitely a step up from a 17 year old Fiesta...
