Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
Very close to my 2,500 kWh estimate for you.
Your sig suggests you have an EV and hot water storage too.
How many litres in the hot water tanks and how many kWh battery storage in the EV(s) ?
PM me if you like.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage

Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
I have two 145L hot water tanks (gas system boiler) connected to an EDDI.
Still waiting for the EV:
Ordered a MG ZS via vanarama 6/12/21. Current delivery quoted as April 23!
Got fed up of waiting so ordered a MG4 in Oct 22 from my local dealer. Current delivery on this one quoted sometime before mid Feb 23.
First one to arrive will be ????

I already had all that.

Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
Update time with another 5 members on the secret list,
In an average year 110 Camelot members will generate 561 MWh of renewable electricity onsite and 183 MWh remotely.
Onsite Generation
PV - 517 MWh
Wind - 42 MWh
Hydro - 2 MWh
Total - 561 MWh
Remote Generation via Coop's
Ripple WT1 - 40 MWh
Ripple WT2 - 139 MWh
Hydro - 4 MWh
Total - 183 MWh
Annual Generation TOTAL - 744 MWh (Or average per member 6.76 MWh)
AND
The same 110 Camelot members have a combined 4,025 kWh of onsite Energy Storage capacity.
Home Batteries – 1,336 kWh
EV Batteries - 1,941 kWh
Hot Water Storage - 490 kWh
Thermal Mass Storage - 258 kWh
Energy Storage Capacity TOTAL - 4,024 kWh (or average per member 36.58 kWh)
Keep em coming, there must be more of you out there generating and storing.
Publicly reply to this thread or PM me with your PV (kW installed or annual kWh), Ripple project, Co-op or other generation.
And now EVs, hotwater and thermal mass storage.
EVs - gross battery size or even EV model if you don't know.
Hot Water / thermal stores - Tank size in litres.
Storage heaters - max capacity (kWh), power model (W) or even brand / model numbers.
Under floor heating - mass or volume of concrete slab.

Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
We are getting noticeably closer to that GWh point now wouldn't that be something !

Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
When Ripple project 3 is announced I am expecting a large nudge up even within the existing members to get us closer.
But when that will be I don't know,
It was later in the year, then Sept last year, then Oct last year, then towards the end of the year, then before the end of the year, then early in the new year and now I've even heard later in the year again.
I suspect the Electricity Generating Levy has stuck a big spanner into the works for new projects of a certain size.

Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
Mine has generated 1413kWh since installation at the end of July - looking forward to more this year....although not this week I suspect, as we woke up to snow covering the panels this morning
Solar PV since July '22:
5.6kWp east/west facing
3.6kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter
2x 5.12kWh Sunsynk batteries
1.6kWp Hoymiles East/West facing PV on the man cave
Ripple DW 2kW
Ripple WB 200W

Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
I just spent all my Christmas money, so put me down for another 3.5kWh of battery storage
