G99 fast track commissioning

#1

Post by vantech2022 »

Hi,

I am doing a G99 fast track (<16A solar and <16A ESS). I have done things around the other way in that I installed an ESS before solar (so the ESS is already registered with the DNO). I am adding solar now, using Enphase micro-inverters, and need to submit commissioning forms to the DNO.

Does anyone have any guidance/examples of commissioning forms / best practices?

Thanks.

Application is required to be sent to DNO before Approval, Confirmation of Connection using G99 Fast Track, when confirmed approval is given, installation then Commissioning Forms are required with a set period of time 3 months.

Take look at http://dcode.org.uk/ or DNO web site, for forms, could even have a Portal, for individuals to Login and access all forms.
If your DNO utilises G99 Fast Track; the Application Form is :

Form A1-2 : Application for connection of Fully Type Tested Integrated Micro Generation and Storage Installations ENA EREC G99 Issue 1 Amendment 8 2021

http://dcode.org.uk/current-areas-of-wo ... group.html

EREC G99 Amendment 8 (September 2021)
Check the ENA Register for Fully Type Tested G98 and G99 Inverters, to find the relevant inverters reference number for the inverter, required for Existing and Proposed information on the Form A1-2

You can complete this application or get the company to install the solar do it for you

Hope this helps good luck

@MikeyB, I've got your battery size but I'm missing the solar PV you have installed for the collective totals. PM me if you don't want it public.

18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated

105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's

Hi,

Permission was granted and all documents for the inverters etc approved.

They will be contacting me for commissioning forms. The system just works, and does exactly as it should. This was self installed (complaint with Part P etc). When they call, I just need to know what they’ll ask for.

Print outs of settings?
Pictures of locations?

Etc?

Thanks.

I sent the commissioning forms with all the boxes ticked to WPD accompanied by screenshots of the settings that demonstrate compliance with their required 3.68kW export limit and separate 3.68kW inverter power limit.

That was over a month ago and I have heard nothing further from them.
