Pylontech battery over voltage alarms

#1

Post by Moxi »

Hi, I have had a series if these alarms over the last few weeks from the Solis inverter, they seem to occur at random times and at random SoC and clear themselves after a short period.

Is there anything I should be checking / tightening / changing to address this ?

I get these from time to time. On investigating the detailed plots I get of readings at 1 minute intervals I see a single wildly improbable voltage reading and often a single improbable temperature reading as well e.g. it jumps to 45C for one minute and then back down again.

As they clear themselves and don't seem associated with any ill effects I have learned to ignore them. I put them down to spikes corrupting the data link from battery to inverter. My battery SoH is still 98% after more than a year in service.

If you are still worried, there is a utility you can get from Pylontech which will enable you to delve deeper into what the battery is saying.
