Ausralia is ideally placed for this tech. In South Australia,the state, PV is now completely running the LV grid in the middle of the day and poised to get 100% in total but it would be curtailed before then because of spinning reseve. Domestic PV alone is poised to power 100% of the LV grid. I think RE is now around 60% overall with a target of 150% by 2035 ? and a 500% target by 2050 for industrial green H2 for export ( perhaps some to the UK.)
