Well, I went for 2 lots of the V4 kit with the 280Ah B cells, got an extra 5% off, so £2658 for 28.7kWh of storage, which swayed me to place the order this morning, delivery next Thursday! Can't wait to get the build going. Compared to what I paid for the first 4 Pylontechs I bought 3.5years ago, its ridiculous value!

All built! Got carried away and didn't take many pictures as I went!











Next is getting the current Pylontech stack/shelf taken apart and moved out of the way, and then possibly some kind of new insulated enclosure for these 2 new cases. I think there are some settings within each batteries BMS to change too for the exact cells/alarms/protections, need to narrow that down as its not easy information to find and pin down. Any pointers from previously experienced folk would be lovely!

Hmmmmmmm, those two units would fit snugly in my utility room if I took out the obsolete gas boiler, not used it in nearly 2 years now.

Another 30+ kWh , I'd better sleep on it.
