I think primary has to also measure tertiary. :?:

It's a shame that Sofar didn't produce the inverters with this in mind. There is an onboard 2-wire RS485 connection (in addition to the RS485 plug for the battery-connection). I tried wiring two inverters together to get them to talk, but haven't achieved anything with this.

When I first got my ME3000 several years ago, I contacted Sofar to ask if it was possible to connect two together for 6kW output, and they just said no! As I see it, it could be done really well with just one set of CT coils and a data connection between the inverters if they had facilitated it in the firmware.

Agreed with this.

However, a modbus meter such as this, and an Arduino or RPi and a couple of USB to RS485 adapters and a bit of glue logic to do some register bashing and you'd be set.

Would need consideration about timed force charge and discharge. Also I don't know how quickly the Sofars would respond - perhaps not as quickly as using their own wired CT.
