Sorry Tinbum missed that! :oops: He needs to get the pin outs of the inverter, the battery us3000. Then pin outs of the us2000 battery, compare and have a comms lead built. I hope its that simple.

I was pretty certain that is the problem.

Hi,

Apologies for the long silence, I have been away from the computer and unable to check.

I have through the cables supplied by Solax and the cable supplied by Pylontech.

Basically The solax cable:

Inverter end -> Battery end
1 -> 4
2 -> 5

All other connections are open circuit

In terms of the Pylontech cable:

Inverter end -> Battery End

1 -> Not connected
2 -> Not connected
3 -> Not connected
4 -> Not connected
5 -> 5
6 -> 6
7 -> 7
8 -> 8

So I can already see an issue The solax inverter is clearly expecting comms on pin 1 and 2 whilst the pylontech battery is expecting comms on a couple of the following cables 5,6,7,8.

there is a complete mismatch ....

So I am going to work out the pins from the manuals (I hope) and come back to you.

I did take photos of the cables but it was not easy to see what was connected to what so I tested with a multimeter

Thanks for all of your helps so far and I am sorry for the long delay.

Jon
