Ah visited ‘James Bond Island’ many years ago, didn’t see Nick Nack or any Golden Gun henchmen looking after the Solex plant

Thanks for all the comments on the build so far.

Krill I don't live in a lighthouse but my house will have lights come any future power cuts, mind you so will most of my neighbours as many of them bought generators after a spate of longish power cuts.

Nowty the Solex definitely belongs with you :D

AGT the plant room was originally going to be my boiler room for a wood burning boiler and 1500 litre thermal store but a heat pump came along and ended that project and a trip to the scrapyard with the metal confirmed it.

Bought this wee AA &AAA charger off Amazon. Does 8 of any mix and runs off a USB C charge cable on a 4A phone charger etc. I am fair tickled by the wee charging graphic. Simple things eh? :D

I prefer it to this. 8-)

Made the swap a few years ago when the kids started playing games consoles, these things would eat the AA’s.
Invest red in Eneloop( spelling). And a charger in each of their rooms so they can manage there own stuff, good decision!!

Hopefully the BMS won't give off too much heat. :xx:

Looking good Ian, amazing how much even a small fan will reduce component heat. If need be you even have built in sidemounting for fans.

Circular soffit vents would let the heat out and provide necessary protection to things falling i.e the insect mesh
