What's happened to the saving sessions, wasn't there suppose to be a certain amount of test sessions every month?

There should be 3 test sessions left, nominally 3 tests per month Nov and Dec and 2 per month Jan to Mar. But they can be rolled over, one of Jan's was rolled over to early Feb.

So its either tomorrow or a roll over again.

Will be at least 4 years before there's another one on this date so I hope it develops in to a session for you all

Not a big one today only half an hour from 18:00 to 18:30

Low demand as well, likely low ball accepted prices

Only 125MW volume, the lowest yet, the last one being 175MW for a half hour slot, likely going to have to bid sub £1 / kWh to be in it. I'm fairly certain contractually test sessions are supposed to be one hour but I'll check later.

My baselines not too bad at around 7kW for that slot but Octopus has got to be in it to win it. :xx:

I've checked the contractual docs and cannot find a guarantee of 1 hour tests.

But in the open letter to industry it does highly suggest that the tests will be of one hour duration.

such a service. For winter 2023/24 we are offering you the option to participate in up to 12 one-hour tests,

Octopus had the highest bid accepted at £1.20 / kWh, get in my beauty. 8-)

Whilst British Gas bombs out for the 3rd session running having been rejected at £1.25 / kWh, they really are hopeless.

The question is are we going to get a little saved up from previous surpluses from the Octopus. :xx:

Read my last line from previous post,

"The question is are we going to get a little saved up from previous surpluses from the Octopus. :xx:"

They banked a fair bit during the first 8 sessions.
