Yes I personally would have bid low today because of the strong wind coming, these companies don't seem to use much intelligence. Yesterday was their opportunity as there was a capacity market notice out, although it was later cancelled. All bids were accepted yesterday.

Next window of opportunity looks to be in about a weeks time, wind will be howling out there until then. :mrgreen:

Let's hope Octopus know what they're doing!

I personally would gleefully take 25p/kWh, sure the £2.50 we used to get was wonderful, but that sort of thing cannot last while there is a company with a diesel generator who'll do it for cheaper...
