Then it dawned on me, I had installed an app in Home assistant that does it for me automatically.
How does that work? I haven't had an email yet, so is your device monitoring your Octopus home page?

I'll be honest, I can't remember how I did it.

I haven’t really got into Home Assistant as I much prefer Node Red. I just have a little look at it every now and then to try and educate myself into it.

So if you can export you get 15p + 12p = 27p / kWh.

Plus of course whatever your baseline is if it's been boosted with IOG cheap slots.
12p/kwh is getting close to the point that it's more trouble than it's worth. If charging/discharging is around 80% efficient - I'll boost the battery at standard rate (24p??) and I get peak rate export which I think is also 24p
Solar PV since July '22:
5.6kWp east/west facing
3.6kW Sunsynk hybrid inverter
2x 5.12kWh Sunsynk batteries
1.6kWp Hoymiles East/West facing PV on the man cave

Saving session today between 5:30 and 6:30pm.

Octopus bids of 16p / kWh were accepted, expect a few pence less after Octopus takes its cut.

All bids up to 17.5p / kWh were accepted.
