Thanks, opted in, although another redicously low payment, but I export of an evening anyway so might as well have the extra.

Octopus seems to have abandoned their "25p or nothing" stance!

I'm struggling to make £1 from these lower-paying ones. I suppose charging at 7p and getting an additional 15p from the export add up too. Need to do more rinsing!

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)

LuxPower inverter/charger

I always charge my batteries overnight at 7p, then all excess is exported at 15p, and there is always some left of an evening, although that will change when the heat pump goes in.

Slim pickings at Nowty Towers this year.
Even the extra export payments add less than another £3 to the total after taking off the import costs.

I always said that less money and more frequent would be better. They did half of that I suppose!

Conditions are right for SS very frequently but we still only get them a few times a year. If it is forecast not to be particularly windy they could have them every day!

Wow, another SS is on, Octopus was accepted again at the same price of 16p / kWh as yesterday so expect 13p / kWh.

Opting in with Octopus is now open.

5pm to 6pm tonight at 13p / kWh, don't spend it all at once.
