Not really, but the DFS is no longer a winter contingency service, its a "merit based margin tool". I.e., its a cost reduction scheme competing with other balancing services.

I did, we are at between 4GW and 5GW surplus come the 6pm to 7pm slot, that is lower than I would have thought. I'll blame it on the 4 Nuke reactors down for maintenance.

But I'm not complaining and I have my Pylontech stack above ground on a temporary spare ME3000SP. Its currently charging but may be programmed to export for that little bit extra come 6pm.

There does not appear to be a DFS today so its a baseline boosting day, there is maybe a chance of a session mid next week.
