Email from Ohme....

I guess the game is nearly over :(
They should've known everyone would say they need their car full for 2330! They changed it so the rest of us could only set 0400-1100 several years ago (3? 4?). I wonder why it took so long to make the same change for Ohme users?

Some people set 0400 and unplug at 2301!

BTW: It really boils my piss when companies lie. "This is to ensure a smooth charging experience" why not tell the truth?

Oh...

So it's not all bad news. I thought it meant could only force a slot between 4-11am and only charge between them times..

In other news octopus have changed my gas tariff from tracker to flexible. Don't know why... Thought it would have just kept on tracker til I changed it!

Yeah.... Would have a bit more respect for them if they just said due to excessive abuse and our profits are going down 0.001% we are moving the goalposts for the odd few people who "take advantage"

It is still pretty generous! For example, if you need 4hrs of charging and you set 4am you'd think it'd schedule that for 0000-0400, but no it inexplicably gives you evening cheap slots.

You have to take action if you want to keep tracker. They email you telling you your 12 months of tracker is coming to an end and you'll roll on to the SVR if you don't tell them you want to stay on tracker.

So you say you have a 3kw charger (set it in car) ? If battery low and big enough plug in when get home for 0400 finish. Not really in the spirit though. Is this possibl?

I thought Ohme just built the chargers so can't see what difference changing the charging times will make to them? :?

Maybe they have been told by octopus to try get a grip of the "abusers".

The Ohme app gives me the slot as the charger isn't fully supported by the octopus app. So have to do it all through the Ohme app.

I would imagine so.

I just recently noticed that when you click on devices on the Octopus app it now shows the charging slots whereas before it took you right to the Ohme app.

Yeah just checked. Mine too. They must have updated the app to support it now.
