... And to think I was made up putting a few lugs on some cables!

When’re you updating your sig Nowty?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Too busy testing and commissioning.

OK, now updated.

Were you tempted to sell your pylontechs? They seem to go for silly money (£500 for 2.4kWh) even 5-or-more years old.

Funny you should say that, my 9 units are taking up valuable real estate in the battery cave which might will be replaced with a similar battery bank for another 10kWh net upgrade.

Therefore there will be 2 x US2000C's and 7 x US2000B's coming up for sale real soon, along with stacking brackets and servtec diagnostic cable.

Makes sense. Gets rid of your 15s/16s fudge and while Pylontechs are going for silly money you might as well.

My 15s/16s fudge, is probably the main reason for selling them up, I'm trying to simplify the setup.

The 16th cell in series with my Pylontechs along with multiple top balancers and a 10 ohm bleed resistor across the cell, cos the Pylontech BMS's burns too much parasitic power. :surrender:

The Growatt LMC cells are staying for now as I doubt anyone would want them,

Yeah the Growatt cells are only valuable to you. Might as well keep them going while they’re doing the job. Any indication of weak cells? How would you monitor this?

Absolutely and you could say the Pylontechs are more valuable to other folk and an opportunity cost to me.

I occasionally check the cell voltages and balancing currents at the remote test point, the voltages are always within 5mV (spec of the active balancer) and no measurable current flow in the balancing cables. I occasionally check the current flows out of each of the 10 battery strings under heavy loads and they are all near as damn it equal.
