This is the OP reporting back again.

I have ordered 11 x 460W PV panels which will be connected via two MPPTs into the battery set up.

3 will be mounted on the roof in the remaining space, the other 8 will go on a home made ground mount at around 70 degrees in order to maximise winter productivity.

We are an all electric house and if my sums are anywhere near correct, the expansion will bring our yearly import down into the hundreds of kWHrs.
Multiplus II 5000VA 48V
4 x Pylontec US3000
3.68 KW AC coupled roof mounted PV
1.38 KW DC coupled roof mounted PV
3.68 KW DC coupled ground mounted PV
4KW Air 2 Air Heat Pump.

OP back to update again.
The first extension to my system is now live.
I have an old 3.68 KW system on the roof and have now commisioned my home made ground mount which has another 3.68 KW system mounted at 60 degrees in order to maximise solar gain.
In another few months another 1.38KW is going up on the roof.

Great work, I bet the 60deg array will be much more effective at collecting power with low winter sun as well.
Do you have any pictures of the ground array?

As you will see my rainwater harvesting IBCs will be living under the panels, I will be cladding the timber frame and then growing flowering shrubs up the ends in order to make it a little less hideous...

A really good use of space there by combining with the water storage, smart work!

OP Reporting back (again)
My third PV system (roof mounted DC coupled) is now installed, wired up and will get turned on tomorrow.
This gives us a total of 8.74 KW of PV and ought to help extend the months when we are essentially off-grid.
