That’s proving to be slow progress!

Lux have admitted the problem is a manufacturing fault and covered by warrantee. Infinity are dragging their feet. The can’t actually find a reason to deny the claim, so they’re expending all their efforts into delaying and humming and hawing.

Really annoying!

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

UPDATE:

The original installer has called me to say they're coming to swap the inverter. Their claim with Infinity Innovations isn't settled yet but they have one on the shelf and are willing to fit it in parallel to their claim against Infinity Innovations.

Maybe they figured out that they're on the hook nomatter if Infinity honour the warrantee or not. Maybe they are actually confident they'll be compensated. Anyhoo, a successful outcome for me (hopefully)!

I think that me calling every day with a cheerful voice "Just checking to see if there is an update" gave them the distinct impression that swapping the inverter was less hassle than delaying any further.
