While we are on useful tools for Modbus, this is excellent for setting the int16 entry needed to get the correct int32 output. The Node-red Modbus nodes are programmed by someone with a fixed outlook who does not understand or want to help people who need int32 or uint32 registers and his nodes are int16 only. If you make a request for an int32 node he shuts it down.

Thank you, To be honest I've never used Modbus before so it's a big learning curve for me. I so much prefer CAN.
