I have a feeling this was not supposed to be a dovetail joint but a square joint. But I miscut the first piece and somehow managed to cut the second piece to match the first irregular cut. ;)

A new record power peak here at Nowty Towers after my recent panel upgrades. (nowtyrecord)

10.5kW on the grid ties and 1.975kW on the DC coupling, so almost 12.5kW coming in.

The grid ties are practically at their theoretical max but there is about 1kW of headroom capacity left on the DC charge controllers. :xx:

Either way Nowty it looks a pucker job to me.
At least, I'd be very proud of it. :praise:

As we approach mid summer, Nowty Towers was still generating over 100W at 9pm today, has been my second best day of the year with 80 something kWh's generated once I've added in the charge controller yield.

Generating started just before 5:15am and finally finished at 9:11pm.

Today is looking close to a PB for Nowty Towers even with a bit of high cloud at midday, but its going to be close. :?

I've just flipped one string of East facing to West facing for that little bit extra into the evening.

Bust the PB from 85kWh to 90kWh for a new nowtyrecord yesterday on the longest day of the year.
Without the cloud at midday it would have been 2 or 3 more.

Pushed 85 kWh into the grid for double bubble VB charging for the winter. I.e., import costs half my export tariff.

And today we have our first proper sea breeze which is just about keeping the cloud away from my area, so maybe another PB is possible today. :xx:

That sea breeze should help keep the panels a bit cooler and give you a few more Watts. :xx:
