I don't know if it's been posted before, but in case anyone else is thinking about placing the cells on their sides, the way Joeboy has done it is the best way:

Back to work after the Chinese New Year holiday now
And already arrange the battery cells now
Will send video before ships out

By the way , the battery can be put upside down now
Xiaomi SU7 car's battery is putting upside down

It will be ok for the cells

Thanks all

A nice wee morning, spaced out and strengthened the board then stained and fixed to wall. All from stuff lieing about from other projects.

Spent about a ton on material for the frame build, clamping rods, cables ordered too. Just to buy a 1/2 sheet of engineered board and can get going with that. 8-)

Isolation switches arrived today too. :D

Had a decent amount of bits & Bob's left over from the last 2022 pack that will be used on this pack, i like that. 👌

To keep the info flowing. Selina Li at Deriy just got back to me 23 days late and more expensive than Colin Deng.

Worth bearing in mind if the reader has a battery order planned.
