Doooont get a Smart Meter fitted.
My meter is saying that I use 0.7 kWh in a month on night rate.
My old rotating Dinosaur meter never used to move.
Can I ask for my Dinosaur meter to be re fitted.
I have got two inverters on the battery system.
They do seem to get upset with each other and both try to work with very light loads.
Any suggestions for a bigger inverter that will stop the Smart Meter from working ?

0.7kWh. So exactly what is the issue here? Your monthly consumption, which is probably now being measured correctly, is a drop in the ocean compared to your standing charge - is it not?

Mine doesn't log anything if i don't use anything (except the standing charge
).
If you have grid-connected inverters etc I'd assume 0.7kwh is normal / need slight 'zero' adjustment. If you're completely disconnected I'd try complaining.

I used 0.5 KWh last month with the main isolator turned off.

Your new meter is probably more accurate and also logs power factor which the grid is fixing for you for free

I wonder if that means the meter is using 0.67W to operate which is paid for on your dime?

And did you get any registered export over the same period?

Even on my contract 0.5 kWhr would only be 16 pence... I am more annoyed by the poll-tax stealing (£18 plus £8) per month from every household in the country regardless of how little fuel they can afford to buy - and the way the fuel subsidies gave most to the most profligate consumers.
