China cells: Deriytech?

#1

Post by Lincs Robert »

Hi all,

Has anyone had success in contacting Deriytech now that Colin has left?

He gave me a quote and cc’d a Selina in - but I’m not getting a reply.

Cheers- Rob

I’ve had contact with a Fiona Wu, also via Alib. Am waiting for a finalised quote. Not quite the same as dealing with Colin …..

I’ve just placed an order for some cells. The exchange pound/dollar rate has improved somewhat since my last order. The full dialogue was via the Alibaba messaging system & worked out well enough.

Er, I’m not sure if wires have become crossed, but this is 3rd order from them. I concluded it early this morning by making payment.

Nah mate, it's me. Lost the plot on.progress there for a minute! 3rd batch, that's outstanding! Have they come down much on price? My alibaba out here is showing in TL.so hard to compare with my last purchase....which I don't remember the price of... see what I mean?

It’s not an exact apples for apples comparison, but each of my previous two 15x280 orders cost $1930 inc shipping. This order is for 15x230 EVE cells and is $1142. Yes, I’ll get 20% less capacity in the new bank, buts offset by having 4 x US2000 as opposed to 3 x US2000C in that bank. Gives me 20.640 per stack, or 61.92kWh in total.

I’m still sourcing my third LXP unit, but the batteries are the longest lead time due to land train shipping.

Hope that all makes sense - Rob
