Sofar me3000sp

Hi all
Have set up 2 sofar me3000sp units linked together with an extra ct clamp
All is working well
I am force charging at the moment at night on time of use mode
But I am drawing 300 - 500 watts from the grid all day long even when the batteries have a good charge
When I have a good load on the batteries I don't want to draw anything from the grid
I am presuming I have a setting wrong somewhere
Anyone know if this is possible to fix and how to fix it
Many thanks
Grumpy

Can you draw a diagram of how they are set up and position of the cts?

How are you measuring the 300-500w draw from the grid?

Hi
I have a wireless digital meter in the house which has a sender unit clamped to the mains tail at the meter
Also I have an analogue ammeter clamped around the same cable
I thought the digital meter was not accurate at first but when checking the ammeter it is pretty accurate
Only misleading bit is I have a digital economy 7 meter and it flashes red when you import electric apparently
And it's not flashing red when showing import on the ammeter
Perhaps I am exporting up the grid instead
Perhaps I have the meters on the wrong cable
I will check what cable I am on
Hope this helps
Many thanks

Hi
Have all the ct clamps on the right cables and the right way around
I have been told that the sofars use power from the grid to power themselves
And that is possibly why I am getting a power draw from the grid
In the summer or when the suns out you would not have this as the panels will power the inverters apparently
Please advise if this makes sense
Many thanks

+1 for how and where for the measurement? I had 500W+ draw before I hunted down the vampires. Down to about 180W now if fridge & freezers aren't kicking in.

What Wattage does the manufacturer data say for each inverter?

The sofar's (ME3000SP) actually take their power from the battery.

What mode settings are each inverter in?
