Well, this also sucks!

I’m on holiday, which doesn’t suck. My house-sitter let me know this morning that the pallet of batteries and inverter haven’t been delivered, so I phoned Big Green Beard to ask where they were.

Turns out my gear was accidentally sent to another customer and it’ll be 8 weeks before any more pylon tech batteries are available.

They’re very apologetic, offered a refund, which doesn’t help, offered a new alternative own-brand battery that they’ll have in 2-3 weeks or £250 discount on my order if I keep it and wait for the pylontech’s which is what I’ll probably do as the pylon tech batteries have a great track record and are a global brand.

I am, as you can imagine, pretty cross as I was looking forward to coming home and having a box full of new toys to play with.

However, I can get them to ship me the inverter etc and hopefully get that all ready along with doing the paperwork for western power so it’s sorted for when the batteries finally arrive.

Still, I’m annoyed.

8 weeks and then some.

The installer that did my batteries has been sharing everything he can get between all customers, so at least everyone gets something.

Yeah, nobody is able to say who made the error or how it happened. I'm pretty damn Effed off, as you can imagine. waiting to hear when my inverter is going to ship so at least I can get things mounted, cables run, breaker boxes in etc and then get a sparky to check it all. Have to do the DNO application as well so I have stuff to keep me busy for now.

I've had so many issues with companies lately not delivering on promises that have been paid for and there's not a damned thing I can do about it.

I'm going to be apoplectic if I don't get my 4 batteries from their next delivery. I'm half tempted to find out when their delivery is due and just drive up and camp outside their office.
