What are the options ? Seized petrol geni

So I’m sat looking around my area on freecycle to see if there’s anything of use being offered or indeed if anyone is wanting something that I could provide.
There’s a seized petrol generator being offered otherwise it’s off to the skip - I’m starting from the basis that the engine is irrecoverable and therefore considering if there’s anything on it that can be salvaged for other things or repurposed?
Is this a home made WT project ? Not an area I’ve investigated before - has anyone been there done it and got the proverbial T shirt ?
Any ideas including the obvious walk away advice welcomed.

Blurry pic, is the brand a good in or just junk?
my gut says that's the start point for salvage versus scrap metal.

Hi Moxi,
it's a PoS Honda lookalike of the type purveyed out of the back of a white Transit van by shady Dudes that Tarmac driveways. I have the exact same one, bought by a friend for her sister years ago and despite being brand new and sitting in her shed for years unused it never worked. The paint faded, the chrome rusted, all the rubber petrol pipes perished and it leaked oil. However I did manage to fix it (one of the armature windings wasn't soldered) and it has actually been very handy for running power tools out on the hill as it's pretty light, fits on the back of a quad and always starts first time (now I've replaced the fuel pipes). As for using the alternator, that's not so easy cos the alternator relies on the prime mover's crankshaft bearing to support it
Good luck, Paul

Sorry that was the best pick there was - no named brand obvious so I’m assuming generic copy. Have asked the advertiser what size etc so May get some more info later but not holding out for too much.
Just feels wrong to let something hit the scrap if it’s got some embedded good use left in it still.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the background - it did remind me of the hundreds Honda clones that you see everywhere.
I will await a response from the advertiser before deciding, I have my own geni in the shed that’s due a service so maybe I should duck out and stay the right side of the boss here - she’s been understanding of late but I know one thing or another will get me back to my rightful position in the family hierarchy………. Just behind the dogs

Wise words Moxi, if I'd have taken heed of them perhaps I'd still be married

They sell "with Honda technology" genny's in costco, ..just smoke n' mirrors where reliability is concerned.
A bit like a weak flavoured truffle by micro % in food is not necessarily what you'd think it is flavoured compared to prices paid.
"Don't squander, ..it's not a Honda" ..As the genny buying phrase ought go.
(I don't have anything for a lister, ..other than "blister" sorry
