Declared voltage at connection

#1

Post by greentangerine »

Finally got my ASHP quote through (for an Ecodan R32 and not Vaillant as originally assumed) and one of the forms I need to fill (for DNO approval I believe) is the declared voltage at connection. What is that?

I monitor my voltage every 10s and it peaks around a maximum of 246V (on the CU side of my Optivolt 100 using the 4% tap - the DNO wasn't interested in addressing it bouncing around 253V).

Suggestions?

I guess they want to know if the voltage is on the low side so they can think about tapping the transformer to pro it up.

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)

LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

A bit late but I think the "declared voltage" is 230V (as opposed to 380V 3 phase).

Don't think the DNO will be bothered/do anything about the actual voltage. It is in spec if it does not exceed 253. Mine is regularly >245 cos I am near the s/station and incandescent bulbs have a short life, not that I have many left in use.
