0.6 to 0.8 Uw Andy depending on the spec. KSM glazing in Newmacher, ask to speak to Kenny. The windows come from Window supply company in Altens, ask to speak to Shannon. I heartily recommend both companies.
Wow, that is significantly better than my current 3G windows. The Pine field ones were only 1.0 which I didn't think was great but couldn't find anything better at the time. Thanks for that.

I'm slightly confused how the two work. Both companies appear to do the whole product, ie a window frame and glass. So you pick and mixed between them?

Frustratingly the place that really needs decent insulation is the living room and I've done those windows already.

No worries Andy. Windows supply company will supply you directly if you wish to diy the job. KSM will supply you and fit the windows too. Both ways the windows come from Windows supply company.

Seeing the amount of work and time that is going in to install these properly I am very glad I went with KSM for the whole package. It has taken two men two full days to replace four windows. They are incredibly fastidious.

The house is definitely warmer. :D
The cessation of sound is spooky.

For practicality alone I can't be handling this size of window. It's 3.2 mtr sq. Let us know how ye get on.

I've done all my 3G myself. 4-windows remaining are still very old 2G. I have been beating myself up that it takes me a full day to do one window. I assumed a pro would have the old one out, the new one in, all silicone nicely in an hour.

I don't feel so bad about it now!

I think that's the guy that fitted our old 2g!

Received a good price for materials to build the vanport. Away to look at some used metal corrugated roof sheeting on Saturday. Collecting 150mm posts today.

The panels etc are way down the line. I would like to see what the current PV spread peaks at in May and then I'll know which way to go.

Just wondering. The pine field whole unit is 1.1 but the glass is 0.61. Thought I’d post that for clarification.
