I like the simplicity of being able to plumb HP into existing circuits then upgrade rads later if need be.

Sounds good to me too...
2.0 kW/4.62 MWh pa in Ripples, 4.5 kWp W-facing pv, 9.5 kWh batt
30 solar thermal tubes, 2MWh pa in Stockport, plus Congleton and Kinlochbervie Hydros,
Most travel by bike, walking or bus/train. Veg, fruit - and Bees!

Yep, this is what I was worried about but this forum and the plumber (who was a member in the other place) gave me the confidence to go for it. So far it’s working great.
