I'm hoping that the negative electricity bill (in the short term) and a fairly low overall fuel bill for the size of house in the longer term will help sell mine.

By coincidence I have been thinking just today that (assuming that I am still in control) I can afford to sell it to who I want for what I want...
I have written the general blurb and have been updating the details in a table for each room as we progress. It will be advertised privately in green energy circles and in beekeeping and gardening forums/magazines.

People buying houses like gas boilers and don't care about bills/insulation. They SHOULD care but they don't.

I wish I could disagree, but I can't. Hoping that in a few years the situation will improve, and maybe in 10-20yrs, the consensus will have shifted significantly ...... always the hopeless optimist.

Interesting take Stinsy which I'd happily go along with, yet having watched Celebrity escape to the Country yesterday then heating bills and maintenance were the two main points of focus for Cheryl Bakers husband, a man after my own heart it seems. Yet I readily admit to being in the minority for the majority of my three score and ten, so not doubting your observation just happy to discover another soul with similar views to my own for a change.
