Joe, below are a couple of screenshots from the monitoring kit, the first shows a 14hr period where the outside temperature varied between 0.3 and 4.5C with a COP of 4.39 and the second is it zoomed in to the coldest hour.

Threw together the outdoor electric kitchen this afternoon to replace the gas bbq in that balcony space. Did it at zero cost as the timber offcuts have been stored for 15 years. Lighting by 5V test from a couple of years back. Other wee bits & bobs were on site.

A full chicken airfryer cook tonight. Caught the last of the solar to help out before sun dipped behind mountains. This feels epic! :D

The old travel excitement is kicking in. Heading out the village in a few hours towards Marmaris on the dolmus. Then onward by road to Cappadocia on the overnight bus. :D

Staying at the Zen cappadocia digs.

Me n swmbo are going for a balloon ride. She is scared of heights but said, nup, I'm doing it! :)

This should make up for my lack of NG use the last few years.

I asked the ashp installers for a copy of the heat loss calc for our eventual plant file. Here's the summary, the whole file runs to 10mb. I'm amazed how much work goes onto this before anything solid happens in the home.

Also the accuracy, the opposite of gigo I suppose?

SWMBO had quite an impressive rant today at how much mess will be made and how basically I'm a ba**ard. I'm glad she vented. :D

She'll take it all back when she has a warm comfortable home 24/7 :xx:

Nah, just her way of venting stess as she's looking beyond it to the triple glazing upheaval too. Aye she blames you!.  Bigger projects freak her out a bit. I've already said we can redecorate the whole house but that only slowed her down for a moment!

Can you treat her to a short spa holiday or similar while it all goes on ? then when she comes back there's no chaos just a warm cosy house.?

We all subscribe to the happy wife easy life mantra or whatever it is

Just had an idea does Hugh Pigott still have his training holidays ? you could send SHMBO up to Scoraig to chill out and build you a nice WT to pop up in the garden on a 50ft tower when she gets back :fight: :FP: :fan: :surrender:

I will get my coat............

She'll be heading to Edinburgh to do some Xmas shopping with daughterly. I'll take her to Aberdeen bus station myself to make sure she goes!, :) A diy WT, I certainly fancy that!

We get home Tuesday night and the job starts on the Wedneday. I'm hoping to get rid of her, sorry. See my darling safely away on the Friday. :xx:
