Stinsy, I presume the fan function still works when you need it ?

Yes the heat-out is still controlled as before by the thermostat / timer arrangement. I didn't mess with that at all.

Ah silly me. I had image blindness and was only looking at the thermistor. I see now. Very nicely done. I shall see if any come up on gumtree.

I just registered here to try to help you out.
I can’t see that it’s already been mentioned but you need to look up the “slave” setting for these heaters.
It takes the charge algorithm out of the equation and charges for the full amount of time that you tell it to in the charging settings.
