Let me know
Just picked one up last night in Strachan that’s some drive, didn’t like that road!
No worries, can do that. We have
5 of 800W dimplex
3 of 1600W
1 of 1600W with additional resistive elements for instant heat dimplex
1 of 2400W dimplex

There are others. I'll keep two of the 800W for our own use. The remainder are seeking new homes. I'll do photos when I'm home next week and I start removing them. :(

How much would you look to pay for the above storage heaters?

Well depends on seller!
I’ve picked up 3 for nothing, people just wanting them gone.
Also paid for them too, happy to pay a fair price, check out facebay/gumtree. I’ve been checking for 2+ years now since the guys on this forum introduced me to controlling them with a smart socket which is the game changer part

Newer heaters have to be Lot 20 compliant which is basically a lot more electronics to go wrong, but can also be bypassed if electrically competent

Small one element wide heaters are approx 20 odd kilos so a fair weight to deal with when getting into the larger models, needing good fixings, but nothing impossible…

Where are you based?

I'm in Liverpool...

I have been looking around on the likes of gumtree/Facebook/eBay, but no freebies or cheap ones I can spot.

Seen a few different makes: Elnur, Creda and Dimplex seems to pop up. God knows what models are good or bad.

I will keep an eye on listings to see if any pop up.

Might be handy to get a few... 1 for garage that will have no heating in (when it's finished) and might put one in my elderly mothers room to keep her nice and toasty!

Definitely cheaper than the 2kw heater and fire she got in there too (central heating doesn't seem to warm the house enough, due to solid walls and 0 insulation).

Everyone else can freeze! Hehe

Wasn't long ago people would pay you to take them away! However now they are more popular. I like the Dimplex ones because they look good (IMO). You might need to give it a lobotomy though because the LOT20 logic that controls the charging is garbage. Better to circumvent it and use your own timer...
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)
