Just had an overlong load/scrape there from Eltek so I'd rather we didn't link them to here. Google will be your friend.

Charging became lost last night in the 88% soc band of width that is my battery control. I did say before that I'm more into controlling the now myself rather than relying on others to fail...

88% soc on the Pylontechs has a broad base for power capacity. I can't present a kWh by storage volume percentage but there is an ambiguity in the higher pylontech bms controls. Tbh, our setup slip slides as power moves between banks and settles. The issue is, by how much?

Seriously though a huge well done for taking the plunge. now go and batter yourself around the head with a wet fag paper!!

Pmsl! Cancers a wanker, while we're all here around the campfire together let's give 2 fingers and a big Raspberry to all the monsters. THHHRRRRPPPPP!

I hope they've got you a good fighting programme arranged?

Incredibly low running wbs and rising outdoor temps have caught us out. 19.0 setpoint and house is now at 19.3 degs indoors!

Turning from.cop to cash. We had the EV charging last night at 3.5kW. So that's 3.5x5.5 (19.25) off the figure below.

To this point in the day, 32.65kWhs power to run the show.

Find the heatgeeks in your area desp. Do not accept less than a top flight install. Fintray led by example and I've tried to match that in my own build. Next up will be an A2AHP install in No1 son's house. But not today.
I second those two fingers for all going through this crap, the NHS have done a brilliant job at getting on top of this, OK so my dick has shrunk, I've grown man-boobs and a spare tyre, (there's an image you wont get out of your mind for a disturbingly long time :hysteria: ) still got some way to go but there should only be a few minor question marks left to answer.
If we do go down the HP route I will install it myself, I can get a 9kW Hitachi a2w HP for a bit less than 3 grand and our heating system is already split into 6 zones so the pipework will more than likely cope, may just need to uprate a rad or two. I have been cranking down the flow temp bit by bit to see how it works, so far at 45 degrees or so we are toasty. Then like you we have a 16kW WBS in case the ice age returns :freezing:

Look, the question is, and I'm sorry to ask. How much has it shrunk by? 6 zones? Are ye mental man? Details, details...

As an aside, I often think and reflect on how nice it is to be still sitting around the campfire, In the light. Last week I was saying how ye doing to amputee stroke victims instead of walking past them blanking them and yesterday I was sitting with my fave Aunt who isn't there anymore due to dementia.

See all those monsters that circle in the dark?

Eat my broad Scottish arse. Thrrrppppppppp! Best I can do lads.

Only six zones, I've got 12, well it made sense 20 years ago when I installed it all :whako:

But it does mean all radiators do have their own feed pipes from two different locations, not so sure about the returns, something I need to work out/remember.

I’ve seen a lot of YouTube videos where system efficiency is improved dramatically after zone valves are removed. There was a time when government guidelines encouraged (mandated in some circumstances) them…

3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Just woke up, had a look.

I.know it's not real, real.but hey it fairly put a smile on my face!

Here's a wee bit showing flow rate and f/r temps. House was at 18.3 heating to 19 and heat curve was set at 0.25. WBS not on so upped the curve to 0.3. 12 degs outdoors.

Looks like you need to check for air in the system as showing a problem during HWT cycles.

Bled rads this morning, tiny bit of air out of one vertical rad. Away in to look at the AAV's now.

What about the hot water circuit, that should have a bleed valve in it too.
