A perfectly sealed house in a black box where the outside temp is modified would mean the heat loss is perfect and the curve would work perfectly. However, things like air replacement in the house caused by wind outside and solar gain through the windows mean it is never going to be perfect. It will be heating too much or too little based on the extra environmental factors. That's then where the active adjustment comes in and the internal temperature is monitored and extra corrections added based on that. Make sure the sun doesn't land on your internal or external temperature monitoring or that will throw off the calculations.
Thanks Andy, nice and clear that. :xl:

Been in past to see AGT this afternoon, tge SH's live with a hell of a view across the Tay.

Just arrived in Edinburgh to an email.confirming 24th March as a start date for 3g going in! :)

Man I’m seriously jealous of your COP figures. All that hard work really has paid off. I must try and calculate my scop. Might be tricky as the drive with all my data is playing silly buggers right now :(

Sorry pal.

I tried for serious attention to detail from the beginning. That concluded with the secondary lagging checks on the pipes upstairs. Every therm held onto!

The high cop's are now a given (not meant arrogant). Now playing for the 24hr kWh consumption. A moving target to be sure what with outdoor temps. First soujorn into the 12's at the moment. :)

‘Heat Pumps - are they worth it’ on C5 at 20:00 tonight

Hopefully, a balanced view with well investigated information - though I’m not hopeful given the usual journalistic/tabloid reports.
