But how will you store the exchanged heat for Winter use?
Looking forward to seeing the outcome whatever it is!

Its going to be a cooling comfort thing in summer and a tactical background heater in the shoulder months.
Not sure how useful it will be in mid winter.

Great as a dehumidifier too.

I’ve been contemplating an air-to-air for a while. Which model gave you gone for?

I have a few split systems out in Turkey house. My fave is an inverter type, very quiet and very low running costs. As the others fail they will be replaced with Inverter type. Vestel is the make and I think the last one was about £600 fitted, 18,000 btu. Just ensure you don't overdry the air.

Are you installing it yourself?

Well that's the controversy isn't it and it would not be a Nowty Towers project if I just posted a picture of it up on the wall working.
One of my jobs in the long past in the nuclear industry as an instrumentation engineer was maintaining mass spectrometers, so I have experience on vacuum pumps and various gasses, and stuff much worse.
But not legal unless I spend £1000+ to do an F-Gas course, then pay more money every year to a trade body to get the F-Gas licence. But its legal for anyone to buy F-Gas and recharge car aircon (cos its not stationary)
. They even sell kits in halfords for joe public.
Costs for commissioning seem to be around £500+, so you pay for the kit twice, and try buying a split without buying a installation package or providing evidence of F-Gas installation.
So either, I did the course and I have a F-Gas certificate,
Or I found a reseller where, I just had to tick the box, "I understand that I need an F-Gas Certified Engineer to install this product."
Then bought a vacuum pump with gauge kit off ebay for about £80.
Its one or the other.
Pussy seems to approve of the indoor unit already.

That is the answer I was looking for!
Not easy to place an order with that supplier though. You seem to have to call them!
