That OLD Technology.
That UNDER UTILISED technology.
That HEAT we all have under our feet.

Surprised nothing has been done to cream off heat from tarmacadam pavements that superheat & sizzle, adding to the problem, cos the tree's providing shade are an afterthought.

Well it may be old technology in terms of very shallow geothermal that is basically at the surface - like in Iceland - but this is new tech given how deep they have to drill, through solid granite, to access the thermal beds? Let's hope it proves technologically and commercially successful as it would then certainly enable a much wider scaling of this for heat and electricity generation

Does anyone know what progress has been made on the other Cornish Geothermal well that Abundance suckered people into providing a certain amount of the initial finance and then returned it because others wished to retain all the equity in the project for themselves .
