Sure does, I miss the free wood perk from my previous job, they used to buy in pipe and that came on 4 inch square by 36 inch long blocks so it was as good as logs.

Not everything was burnt though, fences, planters, gates and numerous other things including a wood shed were built with the good stuff.

Long may the free wood bounty last for you ecogeorge.

I fecked up after last nights saving session and forgot to turn the solar diverter back on. I use it to boost my storage heaters on the cheapslot, so no heat in the storage heaters this morning. That has led to a greater heating demand on the battery bank and todays promised sun has not turned up.

I need to keep my powder dry for tonight's saving (export) session so I've turned on the GCH for this afternoon. :surrender:

I have a self imposed gas budget of 1kWh per day, so 365 kWh a year and I have headroom of about 70 kWh left for this month. :xx:
15.2kW PV > 100MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 18MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 490 m3

Would Octopus not give you an additional 1000-1100 cheapslot?

Dec 22 we consumed 981kWh gas. SWMBO had went radge and put her foot down to say the least and then hit up that GCH button..

Dec 23, Zero gas use. :D

By judicious use of not being a stinge and fully engaging her in the process in Spring 23 we are tacking briskly towards January 24 where the mountains of 23 & 1,259kWh Jan gas can be found. Game on!
