I wish! Edged the SH's charge up tonight (about 90% now) to keep SWMBO away from any thoughts of gas while I'm in Glasgow & Edinburgh next couple of days. :D
Happy to run bits & Bob's of resistive heaters where needed.

Even with edging up of the SH controls I can't get the house back up to 22 degs across the board when it's minus 8 outdoors. It's not designed to hack that sort of temp day after day. Before long I'd have brought in a 2kW resistive heater and run it off the EV. The other option would be to run.the WBS flat out.
Fortunately we are not there yet. The dance continues. :D

I was born in Glasgow but chose Aberdeen for life as an adult. Funnily enough, I was cutting about in Edinburgh with a Tshirt and fleece pullover on last week. Everyone else was fully rigged up to and including bobble hats and big jackets.

Just what we're acclimatised to I suppose? England's roasting whenever I go, even Newcastle. 8-)

Nice! How do you go about isolating the chimney shaft air? Always wondered that?

Looks great!
