The physics is real, not convinced that this is actually any better than a standard heat pump however...

It may just be me being cynical again, but it looks like another startup with an idea to change the world but with very little to actually show yet.
Efficiency is probably the main issue, as mentioned by B&J reference linked to by Paul_F, but there is very little in the way of any explanation why this company can make a ore efficient solution than anyone else to my mind.
