Compressed CO2 storage

Any news worthy story. Good things to watch at the Cinema, Theatre, on TV or have you read a good book lately?

I was initially sceptical about this concept, but it seems to have merit?

Seems a lot easier than liquid air storage.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 27MWh generated
6 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 520 m3

It's one of the storage methods that I think has great potential ..... so long as it works economically. I also love the irony of using CO2 as a way to help the planet.

I think this sits in the longer term storage bracket with flow batts and LAES, but before CAES and H2. So many options arriving, or developing all the time, and anything that reduces demand on conventional batteries, will help to spread the load too.

Maybe cover the domes with cheap flexible PV, perhaps Perovskite as (if) it develops well.
8.7kWp PV [2.12kWp SSW + 4.61kWp ESE PV + 2.0kWp WNW PV]
Two BEV's.
Two small A2A heatpumps.
20kWh Battery storage.
