Britishvolt "sold"

So, the failed Britishvolt "gigafactory" battery plant has been bought by an Australian firm Recharge Industries™. Recharge Industries is, in turn, owned by New York-based investment fund, Scale Facilitation.

Apparently they're going to shift focus to producing batteries for stationary storage, rather than the (dwindling/non-existent) UK BEV car manufacturers.

My question is, what have they actually "bought"? No plant exists, staff have almost all been made redundant. They didn't even have a product.
