Seems UK Govt still thinks it wants, and can achieve, 24GW of new nuclear capacity by 2050.

Good article although I didn’t spot the section where they state that the energy will be too cheap to meter ? Oh and sizewell c on the bars by mid 2030 ? I thought it was a news article not a fairy tale 😂. This all coming from the same bunch that gave us HS 1/2

I must admit that with the current bunch in Govt I was slightly surprised they didn't announce an end to the nuclear programme and a renewed second dash for gas instead?

I would be wondering what bad news was hidden behind this empty proclamation as seems to be the modus operandi of successive governments these days.
